Cinelerra CV Manual

Cinelerra CV is an open-source non-linear video editor.

This wiki allows its users to improve the documentation. Contents licenced under GNU General Public License version 2.
The official manual can be downloaded there: http://cvs.cinelerra.org/docs.php

Keep in mind while editing those pages, that they are intended to be copied into the manual. This has several implications:

  1. the structure of this wiki is identical to the manual’s one. There is one page per chapter and you must not create any page,
  2. do not use the first singular person,
  3. the methods you explain should be useable by everyone.

Regularly the new contents added in this wiki will be copied into the manual. The same applies in the other direction: sometimes the manual will overwrite the wiki contents. The goal is to get the manual and the wiki in sync. It is possible some of the contents added in the wiki to not be kept. That will only apply to contents which can not be copied in the manual as is. The documentation workflow is detailed here: documentation. People wishing to discuss about the documentation can also edit that page.

To edit the pages, you first need to create an account on that page.
